There's still one session left and I'll need to read the talks from the Priesthood session, but so far my favorite talk has been President Monson's talk on serving others. All those stories of the children serving others brought tears to my eyes and I felt the Spirit strongly. He is truly an inspired prophet of God. Such a simple principle can cause so much happiness for everyone involved. It's just what the world needs as we go through these ever increasingly difficult times over which we have no control.

I loved it too! It seems that a lot of the talks focused on service & love towards others. Although it's a little hard to tell when 8 people are in the same room trying to 'listen'....
After watching the last session, I definitely have to add Elder D. Todd Christopherson's talk to my list of favs.
How interesting that the declining moral integrity of society is causing the necessity of more government control in order to keep us civilized. He said that police officers and law establishments are last resorts.
It seems to be illustrated by how, with our current presidential administration, we are being threatened with losing some of our freedoms.
I especially liked the talks on the Holy Ghost on Saturday! But after every session there were great talks I liked. Yes, Ceci, the one warm fuzzy talk by Pres. Monson was a favorite, too. And Elder Holland's testimony of the BoM. Such a good conference.
Yes! I left out Elder Holland's talk. What a stirring testimony. Wasn't it he who gave the very passionate talk about the Atonement in the Spring? Incredible testimony and example of how we should be!
Elder Ballard's talk on Fathers and Sons made me tear up a bit during Priesthood.
Elder Holland's testimony of the BOM was my favorite. So powerful! He got done, and I just went "Wow."
My second favorite was either right after his, or two after, and I can't think who gave the talk right now, but he told of being on his mission and wishing that they could teach in the city that used to be Finnish, but was now Russian. Then his son got called on a mission and got to teach in that Russian city! I loved the whole talk.
I recorded the repeat of the session from channel 11 right after, so I can show those two talks for a family home evening sometime. They were amazing.
I really enjoyed the talk (can't remember who gave it) about having a heart transplant and a change of heart and doing the small things in order to keep the natural man from rejecting the new heart. Amazing comparison.
